Water Tech Fest

On May 25, 2016 Water Tech Fest was organized in Leeuwarden as part Startup Fest Europe.

In the physical hotspot for innovation in water technology, the Water Campus in Leeuwarden, we’ve put the spotlight on entrepreneurs and their innovative products and idea’s. The Water Campus will be the global meeting point for entrepreneurs, start-ups, scale-ups and investors focusing on Water Tech and crossovers in Oil & Gas, Food, Delta, Cleantech and Energy.

About the event

A full day program offered the floor to success stories, but above all to matchmaking between entrepreneurs, investors and end-users. Discussions and negotiations were initiated on different levels to stimulate the development of breakthrough Water-Tech. A “High-Rollers” stage showed the absolute top in Water Tech.

Who was the event for?

The target audience was threefold. Firstly we targeted start-ups and scale-ups in Water Tech and the above mentioned cross-overs. Secondly, we stimulated matchmaking with investors (for instance but not limited to venture capital) that want to invest in promising Water Tech. The third target audience was corporates and end-users who can act as launching customer for new technology.
